    Hi,

nodelua looks very promising but i am struggling with the API.

How do i retrieve values stored by “cloud:append(value)” from the same or another nodelua node ?

How do i retrieve values stored by “cloud:append(value)” externally via a URL ?

Can i prevent debugging messages from appearing in the serial port ? I want to use the serial port for another device.

I cannot get the ANSI color codes to work in Putty.

    Cheers, Ivo

It’s not supported. Can you tell me why you need this feature?

I’m still working on the http APIs to retrieve values uploaded from Node.

I’d like to give you a temporarily API for testing, but since it’s under heavy development, APIs may be changed in the future.

    Here is the http API:
    http://api.nodelua.org/api/cloud/data/query?node_id=&cloud_id=&x=&auth_opt=

    node_id: your Node ID

cloud_id: create from the side panel of the WebIDE

x: the scale of the time-axis, possible values are: minute, hour, day

auth_opt: this is the temporarily auth method, you can get it this way: open the source of the WebIDE in your browser, search for window.auth_for_nodeapi

If you met any problem with this API, I’ll answer ASAP, good luck!

I would like to have one node send values and another node fetch values. The nodes will use the webide to transport values.

I want to retrieve a single value (for instance the last one) from the web api encoded as json or html or plain text, that way i can retrieve values from google docs or ittt.

    Thanks for your quick response,
    Ivo

    Great!
I’m currently uploading to the Cloud a bunch of nonsense data (number 78 repeated endlessly) from a ESP8266 and I’m retrieving it from the web with this:

    http://api.nodelua.org/api/cloud/data/query?node_id=32076&cloud_id=6ad7d7f27c1848ac&x=minute&auth_opt=06fda1c7ff01891cc1c6b6c51b7088ec%3DNorber%7C1450049644%7CfyhxaNXp2WNbq1qWy2rLY9DjICCFGSnwQ6YwK1h1I%7C799523e093b96e5e54b294f12f3d6f025a89fd38952181db07508a2374ede0bc

    This is what I get:

    {“succ”:1,”labels”:[“17:25″,”17:30″,”17:35″,”17:40″,”17:45″,”17:50″,”17:55″,”18:00″,”18:05″,”18:10″,”18:15″,”18:20″,”18:25″,”18:30″,”18:35″,”18:40″,”18:45″,”18:50″,”18:55″,”19:00″,”19:05″,”19:10″,”19:15″,”19:20″,”19:25″,”19:30″,”19:35″,”19:40″,”19:45″,”19:50″,”19:55″,”20:00″,”20:05″,”20:10″,”20:15″,”20:20″,”20:25″,”20:30″,”20:35″,”20:40″,”20:45″,”20:50″,”20:55″,”21:00″,”21:05″,”21:10″,”21:15″,”21:20″,”21:25″,”21:30″],”datasets”:[{“name”:””,”bind_id”:””,”color”:”0xff0000″,”unit”:””,”thresholds”:[],”data”:[78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78,78]}]}

    This is very good!
    Congratulations Harold!!
